MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Depression Huaning has left the country but a low pressure area (LPA) spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has the potential of becoming another tropical cyclone, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tuesday.
Weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said the LPA was estimated 1,810 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.
She said the LPA is unlikely to turn into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours.
